SAP Customer ARI Wins Constellation Research's 2012 SuperNova Award by Leveraging the Power of SAP HANA

SAP NEWSBYTE - SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced ARI has been honored by Constellation Research with the 2012 SuperNova Award in the "Data to Decisions" category for its implementation and use of the real-time SAP HANA platform. A leading global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, ARI has revolutionized the fleet industry by becoming the first to adopt the in-memory technology to deliver real-time analytics on high volumes of data.

Since deployment, ARI has realized a five percent cost reduction in total overhead expense and a three second run time of annual activity reports. The company has also seen an unprecedented amount of activity from users of the ARI insights fleet management system. Running on SAP HANA, the ARI insights system delivers value to customers that rely on its integration, analysis and projection capabilities to improve the total cost of ownership of their fleets.

Constellation Research's SuperNova Awards recognize innovators that fearlessly pursue implementation of disruptive technologies within their organizations. The "Data to Decisions" category recognizes advancements made in the areas of big data, decision management, visualization technologies and information management. This year, ARI was one of eight finalists chosen as a true innovator among a pool of 120 applicants and 47 semifinalists.
