Learning to code can get you a $70,000 job - Sep. 27, 2016

It's no secret that coding is a lucrative skill, but it turns out learning this skill can actually double your salary.



Coding Dojo, a coding bootcamp founded in 2012, released a report Tuesday, which found that 56.5% of its graduates earned less than $35,000 before enrolling. After completing the 14-week course, graduates make an average of $72,221.

Apple (AAPL, Tech30) confirmed on Wednesday that it is nixing the traditional 3.5-mm headphone jack for its new line of phones -- the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone 7 has arrived.



Apple announced its next-generation smartphones and a slew of other products at its annual press event on Wednesday. The event kicked off with Apple CEO Tim Cook doing a little Carpool Karaoke with James Cordon and Pharrell. Apple recently bought a Carpool Karaoke TV series exclusively for Apple Music that will debut next year.

Facebook is taking another stab at reducing the amount of "clickbait" in your news feed.


"These are headlines that intentionally leave out crucial information, forcing people to click to find out the answer," the company said in an announcement on Thursday.

Verizon customers who use excessive data must make a choice -- switch plans or lose service.



The wireless provider informed affected customers about the change -- a small number of unlimited data users whose usage is "hundreds of times" greater than the average, Verizon said in a statement.

Hackers selling 117 million LinkedIn passwords - May. 19, 2016

LinkedIn was hacked four years ago, and what initially seemed to be a theft of 6.5 million passwords has actually turned out to be a breach of 117 million passwords.



On Wednesday, the professional social network company acknowledged that a massive batch of login credentials is being sold on the black market by hackers.
