Amazon, Alaska Air Group and Silicon Valley powerhouses including Apple andGoogle have rallied behind Microsoft in the Redmond company's fight to defend its right to tell customers when federal agents request their data and emails.
Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) in April filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government, charging such gag orders violate the Constitution and threaten the future of cloud computing.
