Corel today announced the release of Corel® Cinco™ for Painter™, a new companion app that gives users complete creative control of the Painter 12 desktop with an iPad. Cinco integrates seamlessly into the Painter user's workflow and allows them to work faster by quickly accessing their favorite and most used tools with the tap of a finger. Completely customizable, Corel Cinco can be calibrated to the best hand position where each finger represents a different tool, brush, media or command of the user's choice.

The hands-on companion app allows the Painter community to work in a fast and natural way by controlling Painter 12 with the iPad.

Corel today announced the release of the second free update for Corel® Painter™ 12, the world's most powerful digital art studio. Built with the creative needs of the Painter community in mind, Painter 12.2 offers progressive new art forms and allows users to keep their eyes on their art. With new flow maps, users have more control over how paint collects and dries within the peaks and valleys of the canvas. Multi-touch support for Wacom Intuos5 touch pen tablets and Cintiq 24HD touch interactive pen displays provides a direct way to manipulate the canvas, much like working with paper. Painter 12.2 also includes vertical docking, which gives more flexibility to users when they're choosing which position is most convenient to dock their palettes.
