(NYSE: AVT) company, announces that the distinguished global X-Fest road show, organised together with Xilinx, was a huge global success with more than 6,000 engineers worldwide attending Avnet’s 37-city X-fest technical seminar series between September 2014 and January 2015. Engineers were able to receive expert instruction on designing with the Xilinx® 7 series, Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC and UltraScale™ device families. Today, SILICA is making these technical workshops available to an even broader audience with the launch of the X-fest On Demand website. The site offers viewers free, unlimited access to video recordings of all 12 instructional courses offered throughout the X-fest series. The post-event site also includes descriptions of the exhibits and product demonstrations featured at the live X-fest events.
