Accenture Selected by Air Liquide to Implement Oracle-based ERP System for its North American Operations

NEW YORK, Dec. 22, 2014 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been selected by Air Liquide, the world leader in gases, technologies and services for industry and health, to implement a new Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for the company’s operations throughout North America.

The new system will support the transformation of Air Liquide’s business operations model and help drive strategic growth across the company’s industrial merchant, large industries, electronics and healthcare lines of business in North America, including Canada, the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The Accenture project team will leverage Accenture Enterprise Services for industrial gases to help drive the IT implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12, including Financials, Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing, and Advanced Supply Chain Planning, as well as Oracle Fusion Middleware. Accenture will provide system integration, project management and change management services for Air Liquide.

“A consolidated ERP landscape can enable higher performance via greater efficiency and effectiveness,” said Brian Botwinski, managing director in Accenture’s chemical industry group. “The result is a business system that is scalable and integrated across the region, which will provide greater access to tools and data to support strategic decision-making.”
