MEXICO CITY – Avnet Technology Solutions, the global IT solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announced today the promotion of Jorge Tsuchiya to general manager, Avnet Technology Solutions,Mexico. He will be responsible for developing and executing the operating group’s strategy in country, driving local sales and leading operations. Tsuchiya was named to this role following Eduardo Barron’s recent appointment to vice president, Avnet Technology Solutions, Latin America and the Caribbean.
