SANTA CLARA, CA – Citrix today announced the appointment of Sudhakar Ramakrishna as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Desktop and Cloud Division. Ramakrishna joins Citrix from Polycom, where he served as President of Products and Services. A seasoned business and product executive, Ramakrishna brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to Citrix, including broad expertise across the mobility, networking, security and collaboration markets. Before Polycom, he held senior roles at Motorola, Stoke Networks, 3COM and US Robotics.
Ramakrishna succeeds Gordon Payne, who recently stepped up to a new position at Citrix as SVP of Solutions, responsible for driving the design, development and delivery of integrated solutions across the entire Citrix product portfolio.
