SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/15/14 -- Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) today announced that it has joined the 25 Gigabit Ethernet Consortium in support of an industry standard that increases the performance and reduces the cost of data center networks, which run over a 25 or 50 Gigabit per second (Gbps) Ethernet connection.
