By now you’ve no doubt heard about the “Heartbleed” security bug in the open-source OpenSSL cryptographic software library. OpenSSL is widely used by software applications and web servers around the world — including some of ours.
We’ve worked with our partners to upgrade all of our systems that used the software in question. While we’ve found no evidence this vulnerability was successfully exploited against NVIDIA systems, as a precaution we recommend changing your passwords on any NVIDIA sites you may use. A best practice is to use a strong password (with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols), change it occasionally and use a unique password for each site.
